"i have an astra h 1.3 cdti van, starts fine, bad misfire at 1500 revs, a bit of rattle then clears and goes fine past 200 revs.
when cold will hardly pull away, had injectors serviced no better, feels likelack of fuel at low revs "

"Hello Victor
The leak could be coming from a number of places on your fuel pump. If your fuel pump is a Bosch VP30 the common fault is the solenoid leaking at the back of the fuel pump in between the outlets. Most of the time the solenoid can be changed with the fuel pump being in situ. I can offer to sell you the Bosch solenoid or to carry out the work for you.

I have a 99 Ford Focus TDDI with leaking VP 30 from the solenoid. Can you just replace a seal or gasket or is it a new solenoid job?? If you could point me in the right direction that would be great. my email address is dtm83 at live dot com

"HI, HAVE A TRANSIT 2.4 DIESEL DURATORQ - EX RAC VAN. I STALLED IT LAST WEEK WHILE REVERSING AND IT WON'T START AGAIN. IT WILL TURN OVER BUT NOT CRANK. THE RAC TOOK A LOOK AND SAID IT WAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FUEL SUPPLY, THAT IT MIGHT BE A TIMING PROBLEM, AND TOWED ME TO A LOCAL GARAGE. THE GARAGE HAVE SAID IT'S NOT TIMING BUT "PROBABLY" THE FUEL PUMP. THIS IS AFTER THEY SAID IT MIGHT BE THE DUAL MASS FLYWHEEL. WOULDN'T IT BE TOO COINCIDENTAL THAT THE PUMP WENT AFTER I STALLED THE ENGINE SUDDENLY? WOULDN'T I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS BEFORE THAT? THANKS"

"hi i have 1999 citroen jumper 2.5 d that starts and stalls like fuel cutt off all wiring and fuel feed lines and return pipes not to mention fuel pump injectors glow plugs and compession plus timing have all been triple checked and replaced but no joy any ideas"

"I have a 2002 Santa Fe 2.0 CRDI 4x4 74K which has been to another injector specialist in the northwest 3 times now. The problem is than now and again the engine rattles to the extent that the engine sounds like its going to collapse, whilst chucking out black smoke at the rear. They replace one injector and cleaned the rest. They said it was fixed and dropped it off. The problem is still there so I gave it back to them and they said that when they take out the injectors and test them that they show no fault. It is now back with me sounding like it is missfiring with a tappity noise and the black smoke out the rear. Any suggestions would be appreciated."

"nissan xtrail 2.2di , grey smoke,slight diesel knock ,any good injector cleaner ? are new nozzles available ? or are inj's sealed units .
Hello Mick,
Unfortunatly at this present time theer are no new spares available.
I could offer to try and recondition your injectors by putting them in our electronic bath and reclaibratating which would cost around £75 each injector. Other than thsi only brand new Denso injectors are available at around £350 each."

"Hi, I have a Hyundai 1999 h1 2.5 tdi.
On start up it runs fine for about 30 sec then it starts running erractily & billowing out loads of white smoke.
It has left all the mechanics here in Portugal trying everything with no joy scratching their heads & costing me a fortune & frustrated...help please!"
